They are making it even more simplistic then it was before because of the arcane blast spam and getting 30k+ crits easily. sure you have to watch your mana but you still only have to press one button.  I want to play arcane in cata where arcane missles is actually in the rotation again and not paranoid about my mana spending even w/ the mastery being increased damage w/ more mana.  I'd love to play fire and probably will. ( has nothing to do with fire's dps but the animations of fireball is so boring and just doesn't seem right, when I think of a fire mage casting fireball I think of a huge ass ball of fire coming at me, pyroblast displays this animation perfectly where fireball just looks like a small red baseball coming at you. Wish they would make the animation a bit more interesting, same goes with lightning bolt but idc about shammies.  Really not liking where arcane is going.
